About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Grillo grapes grow on terraced slopes between Salemi and Selinunt, at 100–300 m above sea level. The elevation and sunny climate give the grapes lively acidity, freshness and the fruity character typical of Western Sicily.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed. The must undergoes static clarification at 12 °C to preserve its clean aromas, then ferments in stainless-steel tanks at 16 °C, which gives the wine structure and balance.
Ageing
The wine ages for 5 months in stainless steel and 3 months in bottle, developing softness, a lasting finish and a harmonious mix of fruit and floral notes.
Tasting profile
Bright and gently spicy, with a Mediterranean feel. The nose is inviting and fruity. The palate is well balanced and lasting, with fresh citrus notes and a light touch of sea-breeze freshness, recalling Sicilian sunshine.
Vintage notes
The 2024 vintage won a gold medal at the "Sakura Awards" in 2025.
