Paolo Sartirano’s early formation
Paolo Sartirano entered the world of wine while still a child. His father, Giovanni Sartirano, regularly took him into the family vineyards and into the cellar, where they followed the maturation of Barolo D.O.C.G. Patres. Paolo also attended gatherings of Langhe winegrowers in a small café in Alba, where participants discussed vineyard work and established guidelines for the coming harvest. These experiences immersed him in his father’s profession from an early age.
Acquisition of Costa di Bussia
In 1988, when he was 24 years old, Paolo Sartirano purchased the Costa di Bussia estate.
