About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Barbera grows in vineyards in Barolo and Serralunga, on clay and limestone soils. The vines are 30–50 years old on average.
Vinification
Grapes are harvested only when they reach optimal ripeness. Fermentation lasts 15 days at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine ages for 12 months, 50% in barrels and 50% in large casks.
