About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from young vines in clay soils in the commune of Neive, in the province of Cuneo. Yields are 60 hL/ha.
Vinification
Traditional fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks for eight days, with regular pumping over of the cap.
Ageing
The wine matures for 10 months in steel tanks, followed by two months in bottle.
Label / history
“Mara” is named after the youngest daughter of the Rivetti family. The label reproduces her watercolour, Dance of the Grapes.
