History
Giulio Armani gained extensive experience working at La Stoppa, a well-known wine company in the area owned by his friend Elena Pantaleoni. In 2005, he decided to buy several small vineyard plots on the slopes of Mount Dinavolo in the Trebbia valley, in the Piacentino area of Emilia-Romagna, marking the beginning of the Denavolo farm. The estate was dedicated to growing local grape varieties and making natural white wines, or more precisely orange wines. Today the winery has 5 hectares of vineyards.

Winemaking
The farm is not officially certified but is run with respect for the terroir and follows biodynamic methods.
No additives are used in the cellar: fermentation relies entirely on naturally occurring yeasts, and the wines are neither fined nor filtered. Denavolo makes natural white wines, or more precisely orange wines, described as having a consistently genuine character.
