About this wine

Grapes

100% Pinot Bianco.

Ageing

Made by the traditional method and matured on the lees for 36 months. The bottles are sealed with composite DIAM corks.

Technical data

Production is limited to 3,000 bottles. Available in 750 ml and 1,500 ml formats.

Tasting profile

Conceived as a modern sparkling wine, combining fresh fruit aromas with a soft, smooth palate and fine, persistent bubbles.

Serving and pairing

Serve at 7–8 °C. Its acidity and bubbles complement rich shellfish such as lobster and crab, as well as shrimp, caviar, smoked salmon and oysters. It also pairs with mature mountain cheeses including Comté, Gruyère, Appenzeller and Challerhocker. Cream-based pasta and risotto are recommended in preference to tomato sauces. Fruit pairings include strawberries, raspberries, peaches and plums.

Label / history

Sarà was Di Lenardo Vineyards’ first Metodo Classico sparkling wine and its first experiment with this modern sparkling style.
