About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown on 30-year-old vines in the municipality of Verduno, in the Langhe hills.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand during the first ten days of September. Whole bunches are gently pressed, and the free-run must ferments slowly and steadily in stainless steel tanks at temperatures no higher than 20 °C. Malolactic fermentation is deliberately avoided, and the entire winemaking process takes place in stainless steel.
