About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from six small plots totalling 10 hectares. The vineyards have shallow, well-drained limestone and sandy soils.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness. The must is vinified in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks and undergoes malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine ages for 12 months in oak barrels.
Tasting profile
Intense, warm and well balanced, with a powerful structure.
Label / history
The label bears three doves representing Donatella, her husband Carlo and their daughter Violante, who share a passion for red wine.
