About this wine

Grapes

100% Sangiovese, harvested by hand in the second half of September.

Vinification

Alcoholic fermentation begins with indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats at approximately 30 °C. Maceration on the skins lasts about 20 days.

Ageing

Approximately 12 months in wood.

Tasting profile

Clear and bright ruby red. The intense, persistent aroma recalls fresh small red fruits and cherry. The palate is dry and warm, with good structure and persistent aromatic character.

Serving and pairing

Serve at 18 °C with first courses dressed with meat sauces, cured meats or red meats. The wine has good ageing potential and should be stored horizontally in darkness at approximately 15 °C, away from noise and strong odours.
