About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in the winery’s vineyards in Basilicata, at approximately 500 m above sea level on moderately volcanic soil.
Vinification
Aglianico and Cabernet Sauvignon ripen at different times, so they are harvested and vinified separately. After alcoholic fermentation, the wines are blended.
Ageing
The blend matures for at least 15 months in a 50 hl cask.
Serving and pairing
Pair with pasta in meat sauce, meat and vegetable stew, steak, or aged cheeses.
