About this wine
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and gently crushed. The must ferments at a controlled temperature of 14–16 °C.
Ageing
The wine rests for 2 months in cement tanks, followed by 3 months in bottle in the winery’s cellars.
Label / history
“SurSur” comes from the Arabic word for “cricket,” reflecting a language once spoken in Sicily. The label depicts a girl’s bare foot floating above flowers and fresh herbs, accompanied by the song of crickets.
