The Syrah comes from a favored site in Riparbella, where the variety expresses the Mediterranean character and salinity associated with the estate. The vines are 25 years old and trained as alberello.

The wine matures for 22 months in French oak barriques.

Tasting profile
The aromatic profile combines myrtle and spices with a vivid saline quality. The palate is silky and enveloping, with finely articulated tannins and an elegant, deep progression.

The name Suisassi preserves the memory of land once dominated by stones—sassi in Italian.
