About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow on the hills of Gibellina at 150–250 metres above sea level, in deep alluvial soils.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at full phenolic ripeness. They undergo maceration for 15–25 days at 26°C, with daily pumping over.
Ageing
The wine rests for around five months in stainless steel tanks, followed by a short period in oak barrels before bottling.
