About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from a 0.7-hectare, east-facing plot in the Pugnane cru of Castiglione Falletto. The vines are 25–30 years old and grow in limestone-rich sandy marl. These soils contribute fragrant aromas and structure while preserving finesse, delicacy and softness. The cru is associated with delicate, refined wines.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand, transported to the winery in small crates and pressed. Vinification is adjusted each year to the character of the vintage.
Ageing
The wine ages for one year in 25-hectolitre Austrian Stockinger barrels.
