About this wine

Vinification

Alpine and rare exotic herbs are infused in alcohol and blended with a specially prepared wine base. The recipe has remained unchanged since its creation and is kept secret.

Tasting profile

Delicate, with clear sour-cherry and sweet-cherry character. Cinnamon and clove notes give the aroma a refreshing lift.

Label / history

Gancia was founded by Carlo Gancia in 1850. He created Italy’s first white vermouth. The company became the exclusive supplier to the Italian royal court in 1870 and gained the right to use the monarchy’s coat of arms. It was selected as a Vatican supplier in 1924, receiving the right to use the papal coat of arms, and became an official supplier to the Swedish Royal Court in 1951.
