About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the Bricco dei Guazzi vineyards, where the climate supports their ripening.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand, pressed and destemmed. The must macerates in large stainless-steel tanks for one week at 25–28 °C, developing colour and fullness, and undergoes malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine matures for six months in 30 hL barrels, followed by four months in bottle.
Tasting profile
The palate is pleasantly full and notably balanced, without the sharpness associated in the source with Barbera wines.
