About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in vineyards at 30–35 m above sea level.
Vinification
The grapes are destemmed and pressed, followed by 4–5 days of skin contact at 28–33 °C. Malolactic fermentation follows. At Tenuta Sant'Anna, each grape variety is vinified separately to preserve its individual qualities.
Ageing
The wine matures in cement vats.
Tasting profile
It has a distinctive, aristocratic character both in youth and as it matures.
Label / history
Tenuta Sant'Anna was founded in the early 1960s in Loncon, Annone Veneto, in the heart of Lison Pramaggiore, where winemaking traditions date to Roman times. Bottles for the estate's collectible range have a distinctive bell shape, with labels designed specifically for Tenuta Sant'Anna.
