About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit is grown in vineyards in the Veneto region, on clay-rich soils containing abundant stones.
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes are crushed and gently pressed. The must ferments in steel tanks at 15 °C. Secondary fermentation takes place in autoclaves with selected yeasts for approximately 40 days.
Label / history
The name “V8+” refers to the number eight as a symbol of infinity, the universe and eternal youth. It also alludes to the approximately eight minutes taken by sunlight to reach Earth and illuminate the Otto Piu Vineyards.
