About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes grow in well-aired hillside vineyards in Oltradige, between 450 and 500 metres above sea level. Mineral-rich soils formed through Ice Age sedimentation are marked by volcanic porphyry.

Grapes

Pinot Bianco. The variety forms compact bunches of small, greenish grapes and is Cantina Girlan’s most widely cultivated white variety.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand into small containers to protect them from excessive pressure. They undergo gentle pressing, followed by clarification of the must through natural sedimentation. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature in stainless-steel tanks.

Ageing

The wine matures on its fine lees in stainless-steel tanks.

Technical data

Vintage 2025. Alto Adige DOC. Yield: 70 hl/ha. Alcohol: 13.0% vol. Total acidity: 6.13 g/L. Residual sugar: 1.8 g/L. Ageing potential: 3 years.
