About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes are grown in a Mediterranean area protected by the World Wildlife Fund.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested in mid-September and sorted, followed by two weeks of skin maceration. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation take place at controlled temperature in stainless-steel tanks.

Ageing

The wine spends seven months on its lees in stainless-steel tanks. After bottling, it rests for several more months in the winery’s cellar before release.

Tasting profile

Black-fruit flavours are framed by velvety tannins.

Label / history

The Coste a Preola range and Gorghi Tondi take their names from the “Lago Preola e Gorghi Tondi” nature reserve.
