About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes are grown in Rufina, in the Chianti area, at approximately 400 metres above sea level. The vineyards occupy a west-facing hillside with clay and calcareous marl soils.

Vinification

The must undergoes 15 days of maceration, with pumping over every two hours for eight minutes. Fermentation takes place with natural yeast cultures.

Ageing

The wine ages in Slavonian oak barrels.

Tasting profile

Berry aromas lead to a bright, bold palate.

Serving and pairing

Decant for one hour before serving.
