The grapes are grown on high hills in the Chianti Rufina area, in soils of clay and calcareous marl.
Vinification
Traditional vinification with native yeasts.
Ageing
The wine matures in oak barrels for 36 months, followed by six months in bottle.

The aroma is savoury and spicy. The palate is bold, lively and well structured.
