About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow at 140 m above sea level in sandy clay soils. The vineyard is planted at a density of 5,000 vines per hectare, and the vines are 10–20 years old.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in September. Fermentation takes place for 20 days in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28 °C, followed by natural malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine matures for 12 months in 5 hl French oak tonneaux, followed by six months in bottle in the winery’s cellars.

Elegant.
Label / history
Annual production is 15,000 bottles. The label was created by Livorno artist Andrea Carciola and depicts Blasone, a dog who lives on the farm and has become its symbol.
