About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Sangiovese grows in Chianti Classico at 550 metres on galestro and alberese soils. The 15-year-old vines have a north-west exposure, which promotes even ripening, and are trained using the Cordon Speronato system.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled cement tanks for 15 days.
Ageing
The wine matures for 18 months in Slavonian oak barrels.
