The Sangiovese is grown in the Montalcino area.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested and sorted by hand. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in steel tanks, followed by extended skin maceration.
Ageing
The wine matures for 24 months in French oak barrels, followed by several months in bottle.
