About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes grow in the province of Chieti, in a vineyard facing southeast. Plentiful sunshine helps them ripen well. The wine is organic.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand. At the winery they are macerated on the skins to extract as much colour and tannin as possible.

Ageing

The wine is aged in cement and stainless-steel tanks.

Tasting profile

Well balanced, combining simplicity with refinement. The flavour is rich in fruit and berries, with subtle hints of sweet spice. The finish is long, with refreshing acidity.

Serving and pairing

Pairs with lamb chops, potato gnocchi, pasta, rabbit, and mushrooms fried with garlic and rosemary, among other flavourful dishes. It can be stored for 2–3 years.
