About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Goldmuskateller grapes come from selected vineyards in the rolling Überetsch area of South Tyrol.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully harvested, thoroughly destemmed and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place at a strictly controlled temperature of 17 °C.
Ageing
The young wine matures in steel tanks, with frequent stirring of the fine lees. It is bottled around April of the following year.
Tasting profile
A distinctive aroma with notes of nutmeg, and a dry, spicy taste.
Serving and pairing
Pairs with hearty appetizers, smoked fish and white meat, and is also popular as an aperitif.
