About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Cortese vines are more than 45 years old and grow on west- and southwest-facing slopes at an altitude of 250 metres. They are low yielding.
Vinification
The grapes are usually harvested by hand from mid-September. After approximately 48 hours of cold maceration, fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 14–15 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures in stainless-steel tanks for around 10 months, with weekly bâtonnage.
Tasting profile
Elegant and easy to drink, with pronounced minerality and intense fruit.
