About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from a south-facing vineyard in the commune of Gavi. Its old vines were planted by Bruno in 1953 and 1955 and yield an average of 30–40 hL/ha.
Vinification
The grapes are hand-picked into small crates to protect the berries. Whole bunches are pressed, and the juice ferments in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine rests in stainless-steel tanks for 12–18 months.
Tasting profile
The grapes give the wine pronounced structure and acidity, allowing it to retain its aroma and freshness over many years.
Label / history
The wine is named after the company’s founder, Bruno Broglia.
