Vineyard and terroir
The Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grow at 200–300 m above sea level in Tuscany.
Vinification
The Merlot is harvested in mid-September, while the Cabernet Sauvignon remains on the vines until the end of October. The grapes undergo three weeks of maceration at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine matures for 24 months in French oak barriques, followed by 12 months in bottle.
Tasting profile
Refined, with a developed aroma and rich flavour.
Serving and pairing
Pairs particularly well with red meat, venison and game.
