About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the small village of Camporengo, in the commune of Cavaion Veronese, Veneto. The south-facing vineyards lie at 190 m above sea level, and the cordon-trained vines average 16 years of age.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and pressed as whole bunches. Only the first-press juice is used. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 17 °C.
Ageing
The wine rests on its fine lees in 50 hl stainless-steel tanks until the following spring, when it is bottled.
Serving and pairing
Pair with first courses, seasonal vegetables, fresh fish or shellfish.
Label / history
The wine takes its name from Camporengo, the village where the grapes are grown.
