About this wine
Grapes
The blend comprises five local varieties. Trebbiano accounts for 30% and Garganega for 25%; the proportions and selection of the remaining varieties can vary by producer. Malvasia and Cortese are also identified as components.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested entirely by hand and gently pressed. A short maceration is followed by rapid separation of the must. After clarification, the must ferments at 15–16 °C. Before bottling, the wine is chilled and filtered, then filled into sterilised glass bottles and sealed with a special closure.
Ageing
The wine rests in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks.
Tasting profile
Elegant and fresh, with fruit notes on the nose and palate. Trebbiano contributes freshness, while Garganega brings juiciness and tropical- and citrus-fruit aromas. Late-harvest fruit adds gentle honey notes. Malvasia contributes ripe pear and hints of spice; Cortese adds fresh lime and light herbal nuances.
Serving and pairing
Best enjoyed chilled in summer. Suggested pairings include fish, white meat and light appetisers.
