About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from Librandi estates in Strongoli, Rocca di Neto and Casabona in Calabria. The soils are clay loam and calcareous. Vines are trained to spur-pruned cordon and Guyot at 5,000 plants per hectare. Yields are 80 quintals of grapes and 52 hectolitres of wine per hectare.
Grapes
90% Chardonnay and 10% Sauvignon Blanc. Both international varieties are established in the Calabrian vineyards. Chardonnay contributes acidity, yellow-fruit and tropical notes, savoury depth and persistence; Sauvignon Blanc contributes freshness and characteristic herbal nuances.

Ageing
Maturation takes place in stainless steel, followed by a few months in bottle before release.
Tasting profile
A fresh, savoury white with depth and persistence, combining an international stylistic profile with fruit grown in Calabria.
