About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vines grow on Eocene marl and sandstone soils. Healthy, fully ripe grapes are picked by hand into small crates to protect the berries.
Grapes
Merlot, Pinot Nero and Schiopettino; the proportions are not specified.
Vinification
The fruit is carefully destemmed and softly pressed. The resulting must is clarified by settling, then fermented at controlled temperature in stainless-steel tanks and terracotta vessels.
Ageing
After fermentation, the wine remains on its lees for several months, building savouriness, creaminess and capacity to age. Bottle maturation follows in temperature-controlled cellars.
Technical data
The 2025 vintage is classified IGT Venezia Giulia and has 13% alcohol. Available in a 0.75 L bottle.
Tasting profile
Brilliant peach-coloured rosé. Delicate dahlia-petal and violet aromas give way to mandarin and white melon, followed by an appealing flinty mineral note. The palate is sleek, fluid and expressive, with bright citrus acidity driving a dynamic finish marked by wild cherry and white peach.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 10–12 °C. It can be enjoyed as an aperitif and works with iodine-rich or spicy flavours, including oysters, spaghetti with bottarga and sea urchins, chicken tikka masala, sea asparagus and fresh goat cheese.
Label / history
Rosé was conceived as a contemporary expression of the estate’s terroir. Its blend of Merlot, Pinot Nero and Schiopettino continues the winery’s approach of renewing regional tradition through innovation.
