About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The hillside vineyards lie at 300 m above sea level in the southern part of Chianti Colli Senesi, facing south and southwest. Ample sunshine and hot summer days promote ripening, while cool nights and fresh Mediterranean breezes provide balance and support aromatic and flavour development.

Vinification

The grapes were harvested in the first half of October and destemmed. Skin maceration and fermentation took place in stainless-steel tanks for 15–18 days at 26 °C.

Ageing

The wine rested in oak barrels for six months before bottling.
