About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Chardonnay is grown in Sicily.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand. During vinification, the must is partially protected from contact with air. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at 16 °C for 13 days.
Ageing
Fifteen per cent of the wine is aged in French oak barriques. It is then blended and matured further in stainless-steel tanks before filtration, stabilization and bottling.
Label / history
The range takes its name from Shedar, the second-brightest star in the constellation Cassiopeia.
