About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes are grown in Sicily, in the province of Marsala, and harvested ripe.

Vinification

After crushing, the must ferments on the skins at 25 °C for 12 days.

Ageing

The wine ages for three months in French barriques made from Allier oak, followed by one month in bottle.

Label / history

The Shedar range takes its name from Shedar, the second-brightest star in the constellation Cassiopeia.
