About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo and Cabernet Sauvignon are grown on the estate’s youngest vines, which give the wine freshness and energy.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand. Spontaneous alcoholic fermentation and skin maceration take place in cone-shaped chestnut vats. The wine is bottled without fining or filtration.
Ageing
The wine rests for 18 months in old oak barrels of various sizes, followed by a further six months in bottle.
Tasting profile
Fresh and energetic, with a well-balanced blend and an easy-drinking character.
Label / history
Production of the 2022 vintage totalled 3,200 bottles.
