About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the company’s vineyards in Puglia.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and gently crushed at the winery. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks and is stopped by rapidly lowering the temperature, retaining residual sugar.
Ageing
The wine spends five months in barrels, followed by three months in bottle.
Tasting profile
The nose is fragrant.
Serving and pairing
Decanting before serving is recommended.
Label / history
The wine is presented in a glossy, mirror-like gold bottle. Wines in the “40” (“Quaranta”) range are bottled for Tagaro by Maredivino SRL, a third-party provider of stabilization, clarification, purification, filtration and bottling services.
