About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from a sun-drenched vineyard with limestone-clay and sandy soils. Puglia's dry heat and abundant sunshine let the grapes ripen exceptionally well.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested fully ripe and then undergo appassimento, in which the berries are partially dried. Pressing and vinification take place in steel tanks under strict temperature control.

Label / history

"Sellata" means "saddled". The labels show a strong yet graceful stallion prancing. The range was created by Benedetto Lorusso.
