About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The estate's vineyards lie in the Itria Valley, in Salento and in the northern part of Bari. Bright sunshine and varied soils give the wine its ripe fruit profile and velvety structure.

Grapes

Mainly Malbec with a small addition of Merlot, which adds roundness and silkiness to the palate.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand at optimum ripeness. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with minimal intervention and wild yeasts, which preserve the pure character and natural freshness of the varieties. Malolactic fermentation follows.

Ageing

After malolactic fermentation the wine is aged briefly, to highlight its fruitiness and soft texture.

Tasting profile

Warm and juicy, with a soft, velvety texture. The nose shows ripe black cherry and blackberry with a touch of spice. The palate is soft from the first sip.
