About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow on the western slopes of Scena at 400–550 m. The vines are 15–25 years old, rooted deeply in dry, deep soils rich in quartz and containing traces of marble.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks, large oak casks and barriques, with partial malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine rests on its fine lees for eight months.
Tasting profile
Rich and dry, with complex aromas of ripe tropical fruit.
