About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
Through the growing season the vines are thinned and leaves are removed, so that only the best bunches remain.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand as the first cold autumn days arrive, when aroma and flavour are at their most intense. After harvest they are dried for a month before pressing. The resulting must is fermented.
Ageing
One year in oak barrels, followed by a further six months in bottle.
Tasting profile
Mature in style, with a creamy texture.
Label / history
"Ca'linverno" Rosso was created by a team led by Diego Cottini, founder of the Monte Zovo winery.
