About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie in the Soave region at roughly 100–200 m above sea level (330–660 feet in the source).
Grapes
The source names the second variety as Trebbiano di Soave. It ripens earlier than the Garganega: Trebbiano is harvested in mid-September, Garganega in early October.
Vinification
The grapes are pressed gently, then settled cold and static. Fermentation takes place at 14–15 °C.
Ageing
The wine spends 6 months in stainless steel tanks, then a further 2 months in bottle in the winery's cellars.
Tasting profile
An elegant white wine.
Serving and pairing
Suits seafood, saltwater fish (especially stewed tuna), lean meat, poultry and asparagus.
