About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The 30-year-old vines grow on south-facing hills at 200–220 m above sea level, in limestone marl soils.
Grapes
Vermentino is the dominant variety in the blend.
Vinification
The varieties are harvested separately, generally early in the morning to retain freshness, with selection carried out in the vineyard. After a short maceration, the grapes are gently pressed and the must is settled. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks with selected yeasts at a constant temperature of approximately 15 °C.
Ageing
The wine ages on its lees for four months with continuous bâtonnage, followed by a further few months of rest in bottle before release.
Tasting profile
Intense and aromatic, with an easy-drinking character.
