About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vines are 30 years old and grow at 200–220 metres above sea level on south- and southeast-facing hills. The soils are clay-limestone.
Vinification
Skins macerate for 8–10 days at a controlled temperature, with selected yeasts. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks.
Ageing
At the end of fermentation the wine goes into oak barrels for about 3 months. It then spends 6 months in stainless steel tanks. After bottling it rests in the winery's cellars for a further 3 months.
