Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie across several parts of Franciacorta at 350 m above sea level. Most have a northern exposure and are influenced by Lake Iseo.
Grapes
The wine is made primarily from Pinot Noir.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness. Primary fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks, with a short fermentation on the skins. Secondary fermentation occurs in the bottle using the traditional method.
Ageing
The wine ages on the lees for 24 months.
Tasting profile
The palate is lively, while the nose offers berry aromas with light citrus notes.
Serving and pairing
Pair with cold-meat appetizers or tomato-based dishes such as pizza and caprese.
