About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Cortese fruit comes from Rovereto hill in the commune of Gavi. The estate’s vineyards are classified as Gavi di Gavi DOCG.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed. Following fermentation, the wine is bottled cold under sterile conditions.
Label / history
The estate dates to 1945 and is now run by the founder’s son and grandson, Gian-Luigi and Diego Bergaglio. Cortese has traditionally been used for wines of the Gavi region since the seventeenth century, and the estate combines regional practices with modern methods.
