About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in Sicily at an altitude of 400 m on limestone soils.
Vinification
Harvest usually takes place in September, when the grapes reach optimal ripeness. At the winery, they are sorted and destemmed. The must ferments on the skins at a controlled temperature for 8–10 days, followed by malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine ages for two months in oak barriques and stainless-steel tanks.
