About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards occupy hills between the communes of Gibellina and Alcamo, at 350–450 m above sea level, with a north-eastern exposure.
Vinification
The grapes are gently pressed, then macerated at 7 °C for eight hours. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at 17–18 °C for 15 days.
Ageing
Ninety per cent of the wine matures in stainless-steel tanks and 10% in French oak barrels. It then rests in bottle for two months before release.
